LOCAL POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT INJURY PREVENTION
Work-related musculoskeletal disorders make up ~40% of worker’s compensation claims for Police and Fire Departments. Police officers and firefighters have an inherent risk associated with their jobs that we can’t take away. But at Warrior PT we specialize in building more resilient bodies to handle that risk. INJURY PREVENTION WORKSHOPS
Two hour workshops focused on specific injuries that are more frequent for your specific department (i.e. low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain).
30-45 minutes of classroom learning followed by mobility and strengthening instruction given in your department/station gyms.
Every workshop ends with a group workout or physical challenge that matches the topic of that workshop.
SPECIAL UNIT TRAINING
Smaller group training targeted to the specific requirements of highly specialized units (SRT, Swift water rescue, etc.) .
Unit specific mobility and/or strengthening programming to improve unit readiness.
PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Specialized performance training for those that need 1 on 1 instruction or are striving to train at an elite level.
Programming specific to the needs of the individual and their department.
ACADEMY TRAINING/EDUCATION
Start preventative training at the beginning of a person’s career to limit on duty and off duty injuries.
Injury prevention workshops targeting career longevity and a higher level of physical performance.
